Southport Sharks AFL Club

Our most recent project completed in November 2006.  We were asked to manufacture a range of specialised furniture for their new veranda and sports’ bars, coffee shop, bistro area, poker machine area, balcony, beer gardens and children’s play area.

The furniture had to be versatile and moveable in some areas and fixed banquette seating in other areas.  Stainless steel frames were required for strength and water resistance.  We are happy to report that the bulk of the furniture supplied to Southport Sharks has been locally produced.

Airport Tavern

We were commissioned by owner John Fish to create a retro indoor/outdoor environment.  Once again we used stainless steel dry bars and Kwila timber slat tops, bar stools and ottomans which were all locally manufactured.

Duropal dry bars with powder-coated metal frames were manufactured for the sports bar and solid square tube commercial grade bar stools with upholstered vinyl “lip” seats were used in this area.  The furniture helps create a relaxed and casual atmosphere in this space.

Currumbin RSL

This client had a specific request for their sports and T.A.B. area.  We designed and manufactured solid timber dry bars with Granite stone tops and the quality of these products is reflected in the design detail of these magnificent rooms at Currumbin RSL.

Calypso Tavern

Techset once again designed and manufactured a range of stainless steel stools and bar tables with Kwila timber slats suitable for the conditions close to the beach at Coolangatta.  One particular item supplied was a heavy duty stainless steel bar stool with rubberised top, designed to be maintenance free.

Options Tavern

Options Tavern at Westfield Helensvale is an exciting new development. Techset was engaged to manufacture and supply a large range of modern furniture for all areas of this quality Tavern.  Some of the items supplied were custom designed bar stools, bar tables, bistro chairs and tables, dry bars and outdoor furniture.

Ramada Hotel Pelican Waters

Techset was appointed by Reed Constructions to supply the total furniture package for the central facilities of the new Ramada resort complex at Caloundra.  Techset supplied a range of mesh chairs, timber stools and chairs and pool furniture for the outside areas.

We also manufactured a range of leather tub chairs and lounge chairs for reception and supplied outdoor furniture to the restaurant area terraces.  We designed and manufactured the restaurant and terrace dining tables.  We also supplied the office furniture, boardroom furniture and balcony furniture.
